I am a graduate from Australia's first Government accredited Hypnotherapist training institution - The Academy of Applied Hypnosis. The Academy was the first school of Hypnotherapy to receive government accreditation of its professional courses. You can find more information about the Academy here.

The Academy of Applied Hypnosis has achieved accreditation for the Certificate IV in Clinical Hypnotherapy (Reg: 91098NSW). The New South Wales Vocational Education & Training Accreditation Board (VETAB) and the Australian National Training Authority (ANTA) relate to these accreditations. It indicates the course/unit has been assessed by Clinical Hypnotherapists, Health Professionals, Educationalists and representatives of Professional Associations. They appraise all aspects of the course and advise VETAB that the course meets all requirements and competencies for the designated level of vocational training.

Graduates of the Academy of Applied Hypnosis complete over 800 hours of study at the Certificate IV level and 1700 Hours at the Diploma Level. Both courses have NSW Government (VETAB) Accreditation. You can read more about my training here.
